Call for Workshops

The CSCS19-2013 Program Committee invites proposals for Workshops to be held in conjunction with the 19th International Conference on Control Systems and Computer Science (CSCS19-2013). CSCS19-2013 Workshops provide the possibility to commonly develop visions and exchange ideas in an informal setting, especially if focused on an emerging research field or interdisciplinary research area. In contrast to regular sessions, Workshops can (and should) host interactive sessions (posters, discussions, demonstrations, etc.).

Workshops organizers are responsible for coordination and publicity. The papers will be submited using CSCS19-2013 submission system (a special entry for each workshop will be created in easychair system). The Workshops organizers are responsible for review process. Note that organizers, participants and presenters must register to the conference.

The Workshops timeline will respect the general timeline of CSCS19. Please check the section Important dates. Accepted Workshops papers will be published in CSCS19-2013 proceedings volume.

Proposals for workshops should be a maximum of four pages in length and should contain the following information:

  • Workshop title.
  • Technical description of the workshop.
  • Preliminary workshop agenda.
  • Description of the paper review process and acceptance standards.
  • Names, affiliations, and email addresses of workshop chairs.
  • Names, affiliations, and email addresses of workshop committee members.
  • Expected duration of the workshop (half or full day).

All proposals should be submitted by electronic mail, in plain ASCII text, to the CSCS-19 Workshop Chairs: Radu Dobrescu (radud@isis.pub.ro) and to the main CSCS19 contact: cscs19@aut.pub.ro.

The timeline for Workshops proposals is:

  • November 30th, 2012: Proposal Submission Deadline
  • December 10th, 2012: Acceptance Notification
  • December 17th, 2012: Deadline for posting the Workshops Call for Papers
  • December 17th, 2012: CSCS-19 Workshops Program Announced
